Family-friendly jazz & food tour in Harlem itinerary:
We start conveniently at 4:30 p.m. in Midtown Manhattan – which is accessible to most hotels and subway lines (exact detailed directions to our Columbus Circle meeting location provided in your confirmation email).
We take the A Train together up to 125th Street and consult maps to learn the geography of the neighborhood and where we’ll be walking.
As we tour the historic sites by foot and learn the history of Harlem’s jazz scene we seamlessly weave in an included Southern soul food meal where you choose the food you’d like to sample; and an early set of live jazz at one of our three favorite hidden jazz haunts – all authentic yet fine for families.
After three hours or so we are ready to head back Downtown together by subway where you exit as close to your hotel or next destination as possible for an easy and comfortable transition.
